The FlexiSpot® FlexPod M1 is a one-person acoustic office pod for open-plan workspaces — the product most people search for as a soundproof office pod, a meeting pod or an office phone booth. It measures 1420 × 1040 × 2210 mm externally, is rated at 20 dB (±3 dB) sound insulation, weighs 168.5 kg net, and is assembled on site from flat modular panels. RM7,900 delivered and installed in the Klang Valley, Malaysia.
Why it costs less than most office pods
It isn’t a cheaper specification — it’s a different construction. Conventional pods ship as a pre-assembled frame: heavy, expensive to freight, and effectively permanent once it’s up. The FlexPod M1 ships as flat panels that bolt together on site. That is why it weighs 168.5 kg rather than 335 kg, and why it lands at RM7,900.
It can move when you move
Because it bolts together rather than arriving as one welded unit, the pod can be dismantled into flat panels and reassembled in a new space when your lease ends. We quote dismantle-and-reinstall as a service; some consumables such as seals and fixings may need replacing on a second build. There is no cutting, no making good, and no conversation with your landlord.

Occupancy light
A red bar above the door shows the pod is in use, so nobody walks in mid-call.
Solid wooden handle
A full-height glass door with a warm timber pull, not a plastic grab.
Twin 4000 K strip lights
Positioned to light your face for video calls rather than glare off the desk.
Socket at desk height
Runs off a normal wall socket — no electrician, no rewiring.
Translucent ceiling
A matte polycarbonate roof lets daylight in, so it never feels like a cupboard.
Full-height glass door
Keeps sightlines open across the floor, so the pod never blocks the room.

How it goes together
Eight bolt-together steps, from a single rear panel to the finished pod — no welding, no wet trades, nothing built into your building. It comes apart the same way.

Rear wall panel
Stand the back panel and level it against the wall.

Rear connecting columns
Bolt the two rear corner columns to the back panel.

Side wall panels
Slot both side panels into the column channels.

Front connecting columns
Close the box with the two front corner columns.

Door frame
Drop the frame in and square it to the opening.

Glass door
Hang the door on its three hinges and adjust.

Top panel
Lower the roof panel with its fan and wiring loom.

Desk, light & socket
Fit the desk bracket, strip lights and socket.
Eight acoustic fabric colours
Interior and exterior are specified separately, so the pod can disappear into the room or stand out in it.

How many people does the FlexPod M1 hold?
One person, with your own task chair. We also build larger pods for two, three and four people — contact us with your floor plan and we’ll propose a layout.
How soundproof is it?
It is rated at 20 dB (±3 dB) sound insulation — that figure is how much sound the walls cut, not the noise level inside. That is speech-privacy level: Speech from inside is substantially muffled outside, and office noise drops enough to concentrate and take calls. It is not an isolated room or a recording booth.
Can I move it to a new office?
Yes. It bolts together rather than arriving welded, so it dismantles into flat panels and reassembles in the new space. We quote this as a service; some seals and fixings may need replacing on a second build.
Does it need an electrician?
No — it runs from a normal wall socket. Confirm the socket position with us when you order.
Is it suitable for a wheelchair user?
The threshold sits nearly flush with the floor — a barrier-free design that makes getting in and out easier for wheelchair users. The internal footprint is 1300 × 920 mm and the desk takes part of the depth — send us the chair dimensions and we’ll confirm before you order.
Does it include a chair?
No — it’s sized around your own ergonomic task chair. We can quote one alongside.
Where do you deliver and install?
Delivery and installation are included in the RM7,900 price within the Klang Valley. Elsewhere in Malaysia we quote on your postcode before you commit.
What do you need from me before delivery?
A photo of the space and the access route. We check goods-lift and doorway clearances for the largest panel, and plan the power-cord run with you. Allow roughly 500 mm clear above the pod and on the cord side.
