How can we help?

Delivery, warranty, installation and everything else about buying a FlexiSpot in Malaysia — answered by our team in Sungai Buloh and Penang.

Choosing the right product

How do I choose the right FlexiSpot standing desk?

Three things decide it: how much you'll put on the desk, how tall you are, and how hard you type.

E7 Pro — dual motor, 3-stage legs, 200 kg capacity, 66–131 cm. The one to get if you run two or three monitors or type heavily at standing height.
EF1 Value — single motor, 2-stage, 70 kg, 73.5–123.5 cm. Ideal for a laptop plus one monitor at home.
Essential (EN1/E2) — single motor, 80 kg, 74–118.5 cm. Our entry point into a proper electric desk.

Not sure which fits your setup? WhatsApp us and we'll talk it through.

Single motor or dual motor — which do I actually need?

Dual motor means one motor in each leg. It lifts faster (40 mm/s vs 25 mm/s), carries far more (200 kg vs 70 kg), and — the part you actually feel — stays steadier at standing height because both legs drive together instead of one dragging the other.

Single motor is fine for a laptop, one monitor and a few accessories. Go dual if you're loading two or three monitors, or if you type hard. This is the most common regret we hear from people who bought a cheap single-motor desk somewhere else.

Will the desk wobble when I type standing up?

Some movement at full height is physics — every standing desk has it. What separates a good desk from a bad one is how much.

3-stage legs (E7 Pro) have a shorter unsupported span than 2-stage legs, so there's noticeably less sway. A wider desktop and a proper crossbar frame help too. And most wobble complaints come from desks raised above the user's actual elbow height.

Rather than take our word for it — come to our Sungai Buloh or Penang showroom and push one.

Should I get a 120 cm or 150 cm desktop?

120 × 75 cm — laptop plus one 27" monitor. Fits most condo rooms and bedrooms.
150 × 75 cm — the sweet spot for dual monitors, or for space to write beside your keyboard.
180 × 75 cm — triple monitors or a two-person setup.

Measure your room first — and leave clearance on three sides: left, right and behind. Ideally 10 cm, and 5 cm as an absolute minimum. The desk needs that room to travel up and down without catching on a wall or a cabinet, and the control box and cables sit behind.

Is a standing desk worth it, or will I just end up sitting anyway?

Being honest: people who buy a desk with no plan do stand for a week and then stop. What works is small and repeatable — 15 to 30 minutes standing per hour, usually during calls, email or reading rather than deep work.

The memory presets matter more than people expect. If changing height takes one button press and four seconds, you'll do it. If it takes a hand crank, you won't. That's the real argument for an electric desk over a manual one.

Should I buy a standing desk or an ergonomic chair first?

The desk. Here's the reasoning most people don't hear:

The desk sets the geometry of your whole workstation. A fixed desk is built to one height — usually 75 cm — and if that's wrong for your body, no chair can fix it. You either raise the chair until your feet dangle, or you sit correctly and work with your shoulders up around your ears. A height-adjustable desk removes that constraint permanently, so whatever chair you're using now immediately works better.

The desk is also the bigger change. A good chair makes sitting less harmful. A standing desk changes how much you sit at all.

And practically: a desk is the harder item to retrofit later, because it dictates the size and layout of the room. Chairs you can swap any time.

If your budget stretches to both, our desk-and-chair bundles cost less than buying them separately.

Which FlexiSpot ergonomic chair should I choose?

C7 ErgoChair Air — our flagship. Full mesh, self-adaptive dynamic lumbar, Italian Donati mechanism, Samhongsa Class 4 gas lift, 158 kg capacity, reclines 93°–128°.
ErgoChair Pro 2.0 — fabric and mesh, adjustable headrest, 5 tilt-lock positions, seat-depth adjustment, 158 kg.
I-LUNAR / I-TUXEDO / I-REVOL — mesh chairs at entry and mid price points for home offices.

Chairs are the one product you really should sit in first. Both showrooms have them on the floor.

Mesh or fabric — which suits Malaysia better?

It depends far less on the country than on your actual room.

In an office, the air-conditioning is on all day, so temperature isn't really a factor. Choose on feel and looks — plenty of our customers prefer a cushioned fabric seat, and there's nothing wrong with that.

At home, it's closer to fifty-fifty. If you run the air-conditioning while you work, either is comfortable. If you work with a fan or an open window, mesh moves more air and you'll notice the difference by mid-afternoon.

Sit in both if you can — this is one where personal preference beats any rule.

What's the difference between an ergonomic chair and a gaming chair?

A gaming chair is shaped like a racing seat — high bolsters, fixed bucket base, usually PU leather. It looks great and it locks you into one posture.

An ergonomic chair is built around adjustment: seat height and depth, lumbar depth, armrest height and angle, recline tension, headrest. The goal is to change position through the day, not to hold one.

For eight hours of work, ergonomic. For four hours of gaming, either.

Can I use my own tabletop with a FlexiSpot frame?

Yes. We sell the E7 Pro frame only and the EF1 frame only for exactly this — people who already have a tabletop they like, or who want a custom solid-wood top from a local carpenter.

Check that your top is at least 25 mm thick and can take the pre-drilled mounting pattern. Note that frame-only orders are not eligible for our installation service.

Buying from the official FlexiSpot Malaysia

Is flexispot.my the official FlexiSpot website for Malaysia?

Yes. flexispot.my is operated by Igreen Office Furniture Sdn. Bhd. (1032057-W), the authorised FlexiSpot distributor for Malaysia.

What that means in practice: stock held in Malaysia, a Malaysian warranty you claim locally, a service team you can WhatsApp, and two showrooms you can walk into — Sungai Buloh (Selangor) and Bandar Cassia (Penang), next to IKEA Batu Kawan.

I found a cheaper FlexiSpot on Shopee, Lazada or Taobao. What's the difference?

Check who the seller is before you buy. FlexiSpot's limited warranty applies only to units bought from authorised retailers — a grey-market unit is not covered by us, no matter what the listing says.

The practical risks with parallel imports: a plug or power supply built for another market, weeks of shipping plus possible customs charges, no local parts stock when something fails in year three, and nobody in Malaysia to send a technician.

If you're not sure whether a seller is authorised, WhatsApp us the listing and we'll tell you straight.

If I move overseas, can I take the desk with me?

Yes. The power supply is 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz — universal — so the desk works on mains anywhere in the world, from 110 V in the US and Japan to 240 V here and in the UK.

The only thing that changes is the shape of the plug. Use a plug adaptor for your new country, or have an electrician fit a local plug. Nothing inside the desk needs modifying and no step-down transformer is required.

Two practical notes: dismantle it properly rather than moving it assembled — carrying a built desk twists the frame — and keep the bolts in a labelled bag. Your warranty stays with the original purchaser but is serviced by FlexiSpot Malaysia, so parts support once you've left the country becomes difficult.

What makes FlexiSpot different from the other standing desk brands here?

Three things we'd point at:

Scale. FlexiSpot's parent group has been manufacturing linear-actuator height-adjustable systems for over 20 years and supplies desks in more than 30 countries. The motors and control boxes are made in-house, not bought in.
Warranty length. 5 years standard on desk frame, motor, controller and electronics, extendable to 10 — most of the market sits at 1 to 3 years.
Local presence. Two Malaysian showrooms, a Malaysian warehouse, a Malaysian service team and a Malaysian warranty email. Many competing brands are a Shopee storefront with a phone number.

What we won't claim: we are not the cheapest desk in Malaysia. If price is the only criterion there are RM400 desks on the marketplaces. They are single-motor, unbranded, and typically 1-year warranty.

Delivery & shipping

Where do you deliver?

Anywhere in Malaysia.

Klang Valley — delivered by our own team, so we control the handling.
Rest of West Malaysia — third-party logistics.
Sabah & Sarawak — third-party logistics by sea freight.

How long will delivery take?

Flat-pack, self-assembly: processed within 5 working days.
With our assembly service: arranged within 7 working days.
Sabah & Sarawak: 3–6 weeks — it moves by sea freight, and there's no faster option at a sensible price.

Orders are processed the same day you place them. We'll call before we arrange the delivery date.

Is delivery free?

On selected models, yes.

Electric height-adjustable standing desks — free delivery by our own team throughout Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur. Models on special offer pricing are excluded.
Ergonomic chairs — free shipping within West Malaysia on selected models.
ErgoKid — free delivery throughout West Malaysia, and a flat rate to East Malaysia.

The simplest way to know is to check out. Add the item to your cart, enter your address, and the exact shipping charge for your postcode appears before you pay. No guessing and no surprises.

Our free Klang Valley in-house delivery does not extend to: Rawang, Serendah, Kapar, Puncak Alam, Kuala Selangor, Bukit Beruntung, Kajang, Seri Kembangan, Mahkota Cheras, Bangi, Semenyih, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Port Klang, Teluk Panglima Garang, Jenjarom, Carey Island, Pulau Ketam, Pulau Indah, Tanjung Sepat and Sepang. Those are served by third-party courier at the standard rate.

Full details on our Shipping Policy page.

How much is delivery to Sabah or Sarawak, and how long?

We deliver to Sabah and Sarawak by sea freight. Allow 3–6 weeks from order.

For the cost, enter your address at checkout — the rate for your postcode is calculated there. We don't publish a fixed price list for East Malaysia, and it's worth saying why: sea freight rates move with fuel costs, so any figure printed here would be out of date within weeks. The checkout figure is the real one.

One thing worth checking first: if you are outside the main towns, WhatsApp us before you order. Our transporters cover the towns, and some outlying areas carry a surcharge that we would rather tell you about up front than after you have paid.

Two other points: our installation service is Klang Valley and Penang only, so East Malaysia orders arrive flat-packed for self-assembly. And the courier makes two delivery attempts — after that the parcel returns to the depot and redelivery is charged to you, so please keep your phone reachable.

I'm in Brunei. Can I buy from you?

Yes. We hold a collection point in Miri, Sarawak for our Brunei customers — you order from us, we ship to Miri, and you collect it there and bring it across yourself. You handle the crossing yourself, which keeps it simple.

WhatsApp us before you order.

I live in a condo or apartment. Can you deliver to my unit?

Yes. Who brings it depends on what you ordered.

If your order includes assembly, it is always delivered by our own team, and we will call you the day before to confirm the arrangement. If your building requires a permit or a loading-bay booking for the service lift, please arrange it a day in advance — this is by some distance the most common reason a delivery is delayed or turned away at the gate.

If your order is without assembly, it may travel by courier or by our own team, depending on the run that week. If it comes with our team, the same day-before call applies. If it comes by courier, how far they will carry it is governed by your condominium's own policy rather than by us.

My unit is on an upper floor with no lift. Can you still deliver?

Yes. A surcharge applies for carrying up stairs where there's no lift: RM20 per item, per floor.

So a desk and a chair to the third floor is 2 items × 3 floors × RM20 = RM120.

Accessories bought with a standing desk are carried free. Monitor arms, cable spines, anti-fatigue mats and CPU holders don't count as items for this charge when they're on the same order as a desk — only the desk does.

Tell us the floor number when you order and we'll confirm it up front rather than surprising you on the day.

Outside our own delivery area we use couriers, who deliver to ground level only.

Can I request a specific delivery date, or get it faster?

Tell us your preferred date and we'll do our best — but we can't guarantee it. Standard turnaround is 5–7 working days depending on whether you've selected assembly, and the actual date depends on the delivery schedule our team is running that week.

If you need it urgently, say so when you order rather than after. Sometimes we can slot you into an existing route in your area.

Do I need to be at home when it's delivered?

Yes. Deliveries are made within a 4-hour appointment window and require a signature — we don't leave furniture unattended unless you've instructed us to.

Someone else can receive it on your behalf, just tell us their name and number in advance. We don't deliver on Sundays or Malaysian public holidays.

Can I collect the order myself instead of waiting for delivery?

Yes — select the pick-up option at checkout. It's the fastest way to get your desk if you need it urgently, because you're not waiting for a delivery slot.

Collection is from our Sungai Buloh premises only — the Penang showroom isn't set up for collections.

Timing: order by 2pm on a business day and the earliest we can have it ready is the next working day. If you need it the same day, check with us first and we'll see what's possible.

WhatsApp us after ordering so we can confirm the stock is packed and ready before you drive over.

Bring your order number, and bring the right vehicle — a desktop box of 150 cm or larger will not go into a sedan. A desk is two boxes and the frame is heavy, so bring someone to help load.

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Once an order is placed we're unable to change the delivery address, because the order goes into processing the same day. If something has gone wrong, WhatsApp us immediately — the sooner you tell us, the more likely we can still catch it. We also can't deliver to P.O. boxes.

Will my whole order arrive at the same time?

If our own team is delivering, yes — unless something is on backorder, in which case we'll tell you.

If it goes by courier, items may well arrive separately. That's normal and nothing has gone wrong.

One thing to know either way: a desk ships as two boxes — frame and desktop. If only one turns up, tell us the same day.

How do I track my order?

Log into your account on flexispot.my and check Order Status.

For our own Klang Valley deliveries we'll call you to arrange the date. For courier shipments we email the tracking details once the shipment is arranged. If nothing has reached you within the stated lead time, WhatsApp 017-297 1933 — we'd rather chase it for you.

Installation & assembly

Do you assemble the desk for me?

Yes, in Klang Valley and Penang. Choose the assembly option on the product page before checkout — we can't add it after the order is placed.

Our team brings the desk in, assembles it, and tests it with you before they leave.

How much does installation cost?

Standing desks: RM120 (usual price RM250) for KL/PJ, or Penang.
Ergonomic chairs: RM55, KL/PJ only.

Prices are promotional and shown as an option on each product page.

Can I assemble it myself? What's actually involved?

Yes. The desktop arrives with the mounting holes for the frame, the control box and the keypad already drilled, so there's no measuring, no marking and no drilling. Every cable is plug-and-socket. It's bolting, not building.

What you do, in order:
1. Lay the desktop face-down on the flattened cardboard box, so you don't scratch it.
2. Bolt the legs and crossbeam together into a frame.
3. Screw the frame onto the underside of the desktop, into the holes already there.
4. Fit the control box and keypad to their pre-drilled positions and plug in the motor cables — they only fit one way.
5. Flip the desk upright with a second person, plug it in, and run the one-time reset (hold the down arrow until it lowers fully and settles).

What you need to provide: a Phillips screwdriver — that's the only tool not supplied. The hex key/wrench comes in the screw pack. A cordless driver isn't required but makes it much quicker; keep it on low torque.

How long: unhurried, about an hour on your own; faster with two people, mostly because the flip is easier.
The part people get wrong: flipping the desk alone. That's where the scratches and bent frames happen. Wait for a second pair of hands.

One exception — add-on accessories. A CPU holder, a cable spine and similar add-ons have no fixed position, because where they go depends on your setup. Those holes are not pre-drilled, so for those you will need a cordless drill. If you buy accessories together with the desk, our installers fit them for you and you avoid this entirely.

Illustrated instructions are in the box, and our team will walk you through it on WhatsApp. If you'd rather not do any of it, installation is RM120 in KL/PJ or Penang.

Which products don't qualify for the installation service?

Frame-only orders, standing desk converters, desk bikes, walking treadmills, and accessories like CPU holders, cable spines and monitor arms.

These either arrive substantially pre-assembled or attach to furniture we haven't supplied, so a technician visit doesn't make sense. All of them are straightforward to set up yourself.

Will you take away my old desk or chair?

We offer a paid furniture disposal service within our delivery area. WhatsApp us before you order and we'll advise on whether we can take your item and what it costs — it depends on the size and where you are.

Do I need any special tools?

No. A Phillips screwdriver is the only thing not in the box, and a cordless driver on low torque makes it faster. Don't over-tighten — the frame is designed for hand-tight plus a quarter turn.

Payment, price & instalments

What payment methods do you accept?

Our checkout runs on iPay88, Malaysia's established payment gateway, so you can pay by:

Credit and debit cards
FPX online banking from all the major Malaysian banks
E-wallets
Atome instalments

At our showrooms you can also pay by card on our terminal, which is where the bank instalment plan is available.

Payment is taken before delivery is arranged.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, two routes — and which one you can use depends on where you buy:

Online, on this website — Atome. Split your order into instalments at checkout at 0% interest. No extra charge, nothing to apply for beyond the Atome app.

At our showroom — Maybank 12-month 0% instalment plan. Up to 12 months, no interest. This runs through the card terminal in the showroom, so it isn't available on the website. If you want the longer 0% tenure, that's worth the trip to Sungai Buloh or Penang — and you get to try the desk before you buy it.

Tell us which you'd prefer and we'll set it up.

Are the discounted prices real, or do they go back up?

The struck-through price is the standard list price and the promotional price is what you pay today. Promotions do rotate and prices can change without notice, so if a model is at the price you want, that's the moment.

If you see the same model advertised cheaper by an authorised Malaysian seller, tell us — we'd rather match it than lose you.

Do I save money buying a desk and chair together?

Yes — our bundle listings pair a desk with a chair below the cost of buying both separately. If you want a combination we haven't listed, WhatsApp us: for a desk plus chair plus accessories we can usually do better than the site price.

Can I get a tax invoice in my company's name?

Yes — just ask. Send us your company name, registration number and billing address, either in the order notes at checkout or by WhatsApp before you order, and we'll issue the invoice in your company's name.

The price you see is the price you pay — nothing is added at invoicing.

If you're buying for an office and need it billed against a company purchase order, talk to us before you place the order and we'll set it up properly.

Do you offer bulk or corporate pricing?

Yes. We supply offices, co-working spaces and schools, with tiered pricing from 6 units upward and dedicated pricing beyond 50 and 100 units.

And it isn't only about price. For a workplace order we'll come to you — an on-site consultation to look at the space, measure up, and work out which models suit the desks and the people you actually have. That's a very different conversation from picking items off a web page, and it costs you nothing.

Submit the bulk order form on our site or WhatsApp 017-297 1933. A sales representative responds within 48 working hours. We can also quote delivery and installation for a full office fit-out as one line item.

Can I cancel or change my order after paying?

Cancellation isn't possible once the order is placed.

Changes usually are — colour, size or model — provided you reach us quickly and the alternative is in stock. Orders go into processing the same day, so speed matters. WhatsApp us rather than emailing; it's the fastest way to catch it in time.

Warranty & after-sales

What warranty comes with my FlexiSpot product?

Height-adjustable desks — 5 years on frame, motor, controller and switch, electronics and mechanisms.
Ergonomic chairs — 3 years on the seating mechanism, adjustable arms, framework, leg base, gas lift and castors.
Standing desk converters — 5 years on frame and desktop, 3 years on the gas spring system.
Monitor arms & accessories — 3 years on arms, gas spring and mechanisms.
Walking treadmill — 2 years.
Desk bikes — 1 year.

Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship, applies to the original purchaser only, and is valid only for products bought from FlexiSpot Malaysia or another authorised retailer.

The full terms are on our Warranty page, and that page governs — this summary is here to save you reading it, not to replace it.

How do I get the 10-year warranty you advertise?

It's built in three layers, and this is worth understanding before you buy:

5 years — standard on every electric standing desk.
+2 years free — leave a 5-star review of at least 30 words with a photo of your setup on the product page (or post a public YouTube video tagged #FlexispotMalaysia), screenshot it, and email it with your order number to warranty@flexispot.my. You have 2 weeks from delivery. One extension per desk. Reply within 7 working days.
+3 years paid — an add-on at checkout, currently RM280 (usually RM500).

5 + 2 + 3 = 10 years. The redemption details are on our warranty extension page. Chairs work the same way: 3 years + 2 free = 5 years. Desk bikes: 1 + 1.

What does the warranty not cover?

Normal wear and tear, fabric pilling, surface bending from excessive weight, damage from improper assembly or misuse, accidents, unauthorised modification, and anything caused by high heat, high humidity or salt air exposure.

It's also void if labels have been removed or tampered with, or if components have been swapped out.

One local note: the humidity exclusion refers to unusual conditions — a wet balcony, an unroofed patio, a coastal open-air workshop — not to normal Malaysian indoor use with or without air-conditioning.

The complete exclusion list is on our Warranty page, which is the governing document.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Email warranty@flexispot.my with your order number or receipt, a description of the fault, and clear photos or a short video of the problem. Video helps enormously with motor and controller faults — it shows us the error code and the sound.

We'll identify the part and ship the replacement to you free of charge within West Malaysia. Replacements to East Malaysia are shipped at your cost.

Will a technician come to my house to fix it?

The warranty covers parts replacement. We send you the replacement part free of charge along with fitting instructions, and most parts — a controller, a switch, a castor — take minutes to swap.

If you'd rather we did it, an onsite technician visit costs RM100 to cover labour and transport, available in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur only. Outside that area, send the complete item to our Sungai Buloh warehouse at your own cost and we'll contact you when it's ready to collect.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell or give away the desk?

No. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and isn't transferable — keep your invoice, because it's what we check against.

What if the replacement part is out of stock?

Common parts — controllers, switches, castors, gas lifts — are held in our Malaysian warehouse and go out within a few days.

Less common parts have to come from the factory, and we'll tell you the expected wait when we confirm the claim rather than leaving you wondering.

And if a part genuinely can't be supplied — an older model, a component that has been discontinued — you aren't left with a broken desk. Our warranty already provides for this: where a replacement can't be supplied and a repair isn't practical, we may refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product. It's rare, but the outcome is settled in advance rather than argued about.

Can I buy spare parts after the warranty ends?

Yes. Email warranty@flexispot.my with your model and the part you need, and we'll quote it.

We don't publish a price list, for a straightforward reason: a gas lift for one chair isn't the same part, or the same price, as a gas lift for another, and a generic list would mislead more people than it helped. Tell us the model and you get the right number.

A desk that needs a new controller in year eight is still a desk worth keeping — which is rather the point of buying one with a steel frame.

Damage, returns & refunds

My delivery arrived damaged. What should I do?

Check the parcel while the courier is still there if you can. Then, within 3 days of delivery, email sales@flexispot.my with:

• clear photos of the damaged part
• a photo of the consignment note
• a photo of the overall packaging

Keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved — we may need it. Claims made more than 14 days after the delivery window can't be processed, so please don't leave the box unopened for a fortnight.

Can I return it if I simply change my mind?

No — and we'd rather tell you that clearly before you buy than surprise you afterwards.

Returns are accepted for damaged or defective goods. We don't run a change-of-mind or trial-period return, because these are large assembled items and the cost of handling them would end up in everyone's price.

What we do instead is try to make sure you buy the right thing the first time. Come and sit in the chair. Send us your room measurements and your height on WhatsApp. Ask us which model. We would much rather spend fifteen minutes advising you than process a return.

If something does arrive damaged or faulty, that's covered — see the question above, and your 5-year warranty covers the desk long after any return window would have closed.

Also not returnable: bulk orders of more than three items, made-to-order items, clearance stock, paid shipping, and installation fees. None of this affects your rights under Malaysian consumer law for goods that are faulty or not as described.

Full terms on our Return Policy page, which governs.

What if the desk doesn't fit my room?

Measure before you order, and if you're unsure send us your room dimensions on WhatsApp — we'll tell you which size works. It's a two-minute conversation that prevents an expensive mistake.

Desktop sizes are 120 × 75 cm, 150 × 75 cm and 180 × 75 cm. Allow about 10 cm behind the desk for cables.

Showroom & trying before you buy

Can I try the desks and chairs before I buy?

Yes, and for chairs we'd strongly encourage it. We have two showrooms:

Klang Valley — Lot 2217-12, Jalan Kusta, Kampung Jaya Industrial Area, 47000 Sungai Buloh, Selangor. WhatsApp 017-297 1933.
Penang — No. 48, Jalan Vervea 3, Bandar Cassia, 14110 Simpang Ampat — right beside IKEA Batu Kawan. WhatsApp 016-987 1933.

Hours: Monday–Friday 9am–6pm (closed 1–2pm), Saturday 9am–1pm. Closed on public holidays.

Sit in a chair for at least ten minutes, not ten seconds. Raise a desk to your standing height and type on it.

Do I need an appointment?

No — walk in any time during opening hours. You don't need to book and you won't be turned away.

An appointment is worth considering all the same. We're a small team, and if two or three customers arrive at once you may find yourself waiting while someone else is being helped. WhatsApp us with a rough time and we'll make sure somebody is free for you.

Either way, come and sit in the chairs. That's what the floor is there for.

Can I buy directly at the showroom?

Yes. You can buy on the spot, take smaller items with you, and arrange delivery for the larger ones. The showroom is also the only place to use the credit card instalment plan, since that runs on the POS terminal.

Is every model on display?

Our best-selling desks, chairs and fitness products are on the floor at both showrooms. Some accessories and less common configurations are stocked but not displayed, and the two showrooms don't always carry an identical range.

If you're travelling specifically to see one model, WhatsApp us first and we'll confirm it's there before you set off.

Using & caring for your FlexiSpot

How do I set the memory presets?

Raise the desk to the height you want. Press M on the keypad, then press 1, 2, 3 or 4 to store it. After that, one press of that number takes you back to the height.

Worth doing on day one: set one for seated typing (elbows at 90°), one for standing typing, and one for standing with a laptop, which sits lower than you'd think.

Is there a child lock?

Yes on the E7 Pro. Hold the M button until the display shows the lock symbol and the keypad stops responding; hold it again to unlock.

Useful whether or not you have children — it also stops the desk moving if something rests against the keypad.

How noisy is the desk?

Under 50 dB in motion — around the level of a normal conversation, and it only runs for four or five seconds per height change. Quiet enough to raise the desk during a video call without anyone commenting.

If your desk gets noticeably louder over time, that isn't normal wear. Email warranty@flexispot.my with a short video and we'll look at it under warranty.

How do I clean the desktop?

A cloth damp with water, or water with a little mild detergent, then dry it. That's it.

Avoid solvents, bleach, alcohol wipes and abrasive pads — they'll dull the melamine finish. Don't let water sit around the grommet holes or the edges. Never put a hot pan or mug directly on the surface. Coasters aren't a lifestyle choice on a chipboard desktop, they're maintenance.

My desk has stopped moving or is showing an error code. What now?

Try the reset first — it fixes most of them. Unplug the desk for 30 seconds, plug it back in, then press and hold the down arrow until the desk lowers fully, stops, and beeps or jolts slightly. Release. The desk has re-found its zero point and should work normally.

If it doesn't, note the exact code on the display, take a short video, and email warranty@flexispot.my. Common causes: an overload (something is jammed under the desk), an obstruction triggering anti-collision, or a cable that worked loose during a move — check every plug at the control box before assuming the worst.

What is the anti-collision function and how do I adjust it?

The desk senses resistance and stops, then reverses slightly, so it doesn't crush what's under it — a drawer unit, a cabinet, a windowsill, a cat.

Our desks offer three sensitivity levels. If yours stops for no reason on an uneven floor, lower the sensitivity. If you have a low cabinet under the desk, raise it. Test it once after installation with something soft so you know it works.

Can I add wheels or casters to my desk?

Yes — our W1 lockable castors (RM79) replace the levelling feet on FlexiSpot frames.

Two things to know: casters raise the whole desk by roughly 5 cm, so your minimum seated height goes up; and always lock them before raising or lowering the desk.

Can the keypad be mounted on the left instead of the right?

Yes. The keypad mounts to pre-drilled holes on either side of the desktop — just decide before you screw the desktop down, because it's easier at assembly than after. Tell our installers which side you want.

Can I add a monitor arm or CPU holder later?

Yes, and it's one of the best upgrades you can make — a monitor arm gets the screen to true eye height and frees up the desktop.

Our F5, F7 and MA8 arms clamp to the rear edge, and our CH1 and CH2 CPU holders mount underneath. All FlexiSpot desktops take a standard clamp. If you're buying accessories with the desk, we can fit them at installation.

Years down the road

I'm moving house. Can you dismantle my desk and move it for me?

We don't offer a dismantle-and-relocate service — the transport cost and manpower involved make it more expensive than it's worth to you. Our team is set up for delivery and installation of new orders.

Two things we can do: if you're adding something to your setup at the same time, we'll try to arrange the move alongside that delivery. And if the new address is within our normal coverage area, talk to us — we'll see what's possible. Outside our coverage area we won't be able to help, and we'd rather tell you now than on the day.

The desk itself comes apart with a screwdriver in about 20 minutes; keep the original bolts in a labelled bag.

Can I upgrade my tabletop later — say from MFC to solid wood?

Yes, within our service coverage area. The frame is the expensive engineering; the tabletop is a consumable you can change.

You'd pay for the new tabletop, installation and transport. We stock our standard melamine tops in Zen, Maple, Walnut and White, and a natural Hevea solid-wood top on the ErgoCurve. WhatsApp us your frame model and the size you want and we'll quote it.

How long should a FlexiSpot desk last?

The frames are tested to 20,000 full up-down cycles. At ten height changes a day that's over five years of testing-standard use, and in practice we see desks well past that.

What actually kills desks: overloading past the rated capacity, moving them without dismantling (which twists the frame), and liquid getting into the control box. Avoid those three and the mechanism outlives the desktop.
